Privacy policy

UnderAround operates an on-demand marketplace connecting customers with vetted local photographers. We are the data controller for account, booking and payment records.

• Account data: name, email, phone, preferred language, city.
• Booking data: session date, meeting point, package, messages with your photographer.
• Payment data: amounts, currency and payment status. Card details stay with Stripe.
• Photographer verification data: portfolio, ID document, payout onboarding status.
• Technical data: device, approximate location for map search, and consented analytics.

To create your account and honour bookings (contract), to prevent fraud and resolve disputes (legitimate interest), to meet tax and accounting duties (legal obligation), and for analytics or marketing only where you have consented.

We share the minimum needed with the photographer you book, our payment processor (Stripe), our hosting and database provider, and our email provider. We never sell personal data.

Booking and invoice records are kept for the statutory accounting period. Galleries are kept while your account is active. Verification documents are deleted once a photographer account is closed.

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@underaround.app and we respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

Where data leaves the EEA it is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses with our processors.
